Jour +45: still at the hospital
Claude is feeling pretty good, but is still feverish in the afternoons and evenings. We are hoping that he can come home soon -- he is finding the hospital food depressing. I'm bringing him Easter ham tomorrow (merci Mme Royer) so that should help.

Désolée de voir que tu n'aies pu retourner à la maison Claude.......Mais au moins la fièvre semble moins forte qu'avant.......Lâche pas! Bientôt tu seras chez toi et tu pourras mieux profiter de ta convalescence......Je t'embrasse très fort et je pense à toi.....

Il y a un petit bout que je n'ai pas ecrit, mais je suis ta bataille au jour le jour. Ne lache surtout pas! Ton courage est toujours un exemple pour nous tous.

It's good that he cares about the dull hospital food - maybe he's beginning to feel less nauseated and more like himself. When I was a litle girl and had to be hospitalised my Mum was very happy when I started complaining that they fed me fish and eggs (which I still hate).
I hope they send him home soon!

Je n'ai pas pu te voir, début janvier, parce qu'il faisait mauvais, mais aussi parce que j'étais enrhumé et que je pensais que ça ne serait pas bien de t'exposer. J'avais cru comprendre que tes traitemens étaient immuno-déprimants et l'histoire de ta pneumonie semble le confirmer.
Et puis je savais bien que tu t'en sortirais avec la pêche superbe que tu tiens !
